This is a great motivational book by Spencer Johnson, M.D. The book goes into detail about different personalities and how each respond to change. When I first read the title, I couldn't understand how this related to nursing, as it is a new course requirement for one of my summer semester classes. But, once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. Are you "Sniff" or "Scurry" or "Hem" or "Haw"? I think I am a "Hem" and now I know I need to be a "Scurry". Check it out and see what name you give yourself!

This sounds like a very interesting book, with names like that. LOL Sounds like your interest in your nursing career is coming along great. Good luck with the rest of your classes!

I haven't read the book, but I did see the animated movie. It was for a workshop we were required to go to for work. I turned out to be a "Haw", accepting change...eventually.
It surprised me that this really was quite interesting. It was an eight hour workshop, but seemed to go by really quickly.
As for the title, well. I have t admit there were a few comments changing it to "Who cut the cheese?" instead! What can I say? I work with a bunch of goofs!lol!

haha! It's nice to work with goofs to break up the monotony! The front of the book has a lot of big name companies that use this book, including: Anheuser Busch, Citibank, Whirlpool, Time Warner, IBM, and the US Army, Navy and Airforce. Must be proven!

Hi bestis. I just check the book at the website and it looks interesting. I'm very fond of reading self help books. This has always inspired me to change my perspective and to improve myself better. Thanks for sharing this one. I will see if this is available in the bookstore here.
