jd, my 4 yr old graduated preschool yesterday. where did the past four years go?? i had flashbacks during his graduation of my 10 yr olds prek graduation ceremony. amazing that my oldest is 10. how is that possible???? i have two more to do this and i think that the last child will be the hardest one. leaving behind the baby and toddler years will be particularly difficult for me. time is flying by so quickly.
jd is going back to preschool next year so this was more a moving up ceremony for him. some of the kids are leaving to go to kindergarden so they have a graduation each year for everyone.
my brother is graduating high school this month and my oldest child is graduating elementary school this month too. how is all of this possible? time is just going too quickly.
anyone feel this way too? it is all bitter sweet. makes you see just how fast time flies when you are watching a child grow up!!!

I know I say this all the time when I look at my children and it seems if more noticable now because I have a 17 15 ,12 , 3 and 2 year old and when I look at the younger children I am amazed because I can still remember when they were small like the little one's and in a few years they will be moving out and starting their own lives .
I took down the crib a couple of months ago for my youngest and when I did I started to cry and my 17 year old asked what was wrong . I told her that the baby was growing too fast and this would probably be the last time I would use the crib and it was just hard to take it down knowng that I would never use it again and realizing that the time goes by to fast . One minute you are holding them in your arms and the next you are looking at them and they have grown so much and you wonder where the time went .

Yep- time flies by when you're having fun- that is why it is so important to cherish every minute of it- DOn't fret the small stuff- things get better- No matter what is happening things usually improve! I have only 1 child- she is 10- I can't believe that she is that old already! Man- She is also graduating into the Junior high school- She is getting so mature- It scares me-! I want to keep her my little girl forever!

Congratulations. I hope that your son will continue to achieve and that you brother will be a motivation to him to graduate high school when he grows up.
