I have gay friends and relatives, and I already asked them about it. The thing is, they have contradicting beliefs and principles, which makes me very confused.A friend of mine even believed he was born gay, which really surprised me. I have a gay dad and I'm trying to reason out why he's gay. You see, there's a cold war going on between us, so I can't possibly ask him straight on.. What do you think?

Most doctors and scientists beleive that there is a genetic link to homosexuality. It is inborn. And you need to think about this. If your father is gay, any child you may have could be gay.

Being gay is not a choice, it's who you are. It's the same as having brown eyes or being short etc. Why in the world would somebody choose to be gay? Why would somebody choose a life that is so hard with half the world thinking you're a freak? The answer is nobody. It's just the way it is.
