I've posted a discussion earlier about how to overcome problems of insomnia. Many suggestions and recommendations were posted but none mentioned the effect of computer.
I wonder whether the use of computer for a long time especially one or two hours before bed time would make insomnia worst?
What do you think?

Don't sit in front of the computer before you go to bed. It will just stimulate your brain and make your body think that it is not time for bed. My suggestion is set a time when you want to go lay down. Then set a time when you want to finish on the computer. You should probably wait three hours before you want to go lay down but don't go past two hours. I think that two hours is pushing it. When you are done, go do something relaxing like take a warm shower or read or something. Don't use the electronics because they are stimulants like coffee.

It's my first time to hear such statment.I don't know to use computer before bed time will make insomnia worst.Accoring to my own experience,I don't think so.I use computer everyday and mainly before bed time, but there is nothing wrong with my quantity of sleep.I can sleep as well as usual.Even if I use computer for a long time, that situation won't happen on me.Do you have any evidence to prove it?

In the first place, are you an insomniac?
If you had read my question carefully, you'd have noticed that I meant "Is excessive use of computer making insomniac having more problem in their sleep".
Congratulation to you on your not having this problem!
Hahaha! If I had proof that there's a link between the excessive use of computer and insomnia, would I have asked this question?

I don't think staying in front of the monitor worsens insomnia. I'm beginning to notice, though, that I have been getting frequent migraines since I startd doing myLot. Guess I need to see my opthalmologist soon..
