Actually, I seldom have files sent to the recycle bin. If I want a file deleted, I will shred it on the spot - hence it doesn't even go to the bin.
Windows does not provide any shredding program so I have to install it on my own. A file is either shredded or it stays.
Hence my bin is a lonely place.

i seldom delete my useless files into the bin,i press shift and delete at the same time,so i don't need to clear the bin when it is full.
but one problem i got is,when i delete the file by mistake,i can never regain it,unless i use ghost,it is complicated for me,i want to change this habit, but i always press the two key before i realize it.

Seeing that little white trash in my Recycle Bin icon drives me crazy (probably due to obsessive compulsive disorder). Once I delete an item, the next time I'm at my desktop I empty the recycle bin. The way I see it, I'll probably be able to find those items again somewhere online if I really need them but for the time being, they're unnecessary and a waste of space.

I delete the Recycle Bin contents ona regular basis, and often immediately after clearing items from folders or the Desktop.
I see little point in sending something to the Recycle Bin unless I have already decided that I have no use for them, so cleaning them out completeis not a worry for me.

Hello, youless,I do not always delete the unused files in the recycle bins in my computer,i will only do this when the computer tells me i have a low memory. I am too lazy too do it and my computer is an old model,it takes long time to clear all the rubbish and put it into the recycle bin, that is why i will not do it unless i really need to.

I actually have my computers set up so that when I delete a file it just is deleted, not saved in the recycle bin. I have been lucky in that I haven't deleted things I need, and regularly do a back up of my documents file so I have most items I've downloaded and created somewhere even if I will never use them so back-up is not a problem.

like you, i only delete them whenever i'm sure i don't need the files anymore. you never know, you might have accidentally deleted a file that you might need in the future or something hehe..

i delete the files from the bin immediately if they are of no use and i don't need them, i just keep checking that if any file is not needed, i will delete it.
