My daughter put a toothbrush on her Christmas list. Did anyone else's children ask for not so typical gifts?

My boys are teens now, and this doesn't really have to do with their christmas list they made up when they were little, but it is a not so typical gift my youngest gave me when he was five. To start off, he didnt' always like to drink his milk. So much to my surprise, on one christmas morning I unwrapped an empty milk carton he had from school. He told me he knew it would make me happy to know he drank his milk so that's why he wrapped up the empty carton to give to me. I had tears in my eyes as he told me this. It is a very unsually gift that brought me so much happiness.

That's so sweet happygal68. I also think it's cute putting a toothbrush on your Christmas list - there's a girl who has her priorities right!

We actually have Santa bring the kids a new electric toothbrush for the stocking each year. My kids always want expensive toys

Ooh that's a good idea! Maybe she'll get an electric one. Unfortunately she has found out the awful truth about Santa, so she'll know it's from us. :(

Usually I am sure my kids would like a power toothbrush but this year they would definitely not be impressed. In Oct, I got a ton of them in a promotion that cvs was having for free. They each got one then and I have a large stash left. The youngest has decided that she doesn't like it and has gone back to the reg. brush. I think that is odd for a 7 yo but to each her own.

Ack! He'd better come up with something fast. With as fast as time has gone this year, I think it might be here next week ;)

My child isnt quite old enough to tell me yet. But I thought I would share an old christmas list I made when I was a kid that my mother kept. 1.A Hat Like Daddy's 2.A bike with no training wheels or you could just take mine off. 3.Baby loves to talk .. Now read my brothers list..he wants a guitar. lol. I just HAD to share that. It has always made me laugh.

my daughter is going to be three in november, and last year she asked santa for balloons. so we went to our local party store had a bunch of christmas balloons blown up.we had them coming out from her stocking..and i bought a package of regular balloons and one of those huge punch ballons that we put in her stocking as well.. lol. so her stocking was full of balloons of all sorts. This year she said she wants balloons again...but she added some other things to the list as well. the baby alive doll, and the tickle me elmo, wich i have got both of those already...and we plan to get more balloons to come out of her stocking this year as well!

My daughter asked for apples on year. I thought that was very odd.
