While your blog/diary will get lots exposure on here, you won't get paid for it. According to myLot guidelines, you are only paid for: posting discussions, responding to discussions, and uploading pictures. Anything else does not get you any payment. I am sorry about that, but if you post a blog there will be many people that are looking at it. Have a nice day.

I think it is treated like a discussion. Again I had hoped that we could blog here and that is not the case. Good luck with this since if you can import it and it make a little money then you would be glad for it. Let me know how it works out for you.

I don't think I'll do it...doesn't sound like it's worth the effort here. There's places out on the net that probably pay you to blog, I would guess.

Personally if it is only worth 2 cents to blog here I wouldn't be interested.Specially if it takes me two or three days to put one together.I know there are other sites out there that actually pay good money for blogs. So here it wouldn't be worth my while or my time.:)

Well paradisesuns I read somewhere in one of the discussions here in mylot that the blogs had to be up and running for a certain amount of time before mylot will accept them. I am sure that you are not paid for them but it seems that people will put their links in to other sites etc, Thatis where they will earn themoney, from referring people and being paid for the referrals.
At least that is my understanding of how it works but maybe someone who has a blog on mylot could tell you for certain. I am only passing on here what I have read in other dicusssions, both from people whose blog has not been accepted as well as those who do have a blog here on mylot.

I guess that's a good idea to collect referals...I have never put a blog together so if I did it might take me awhile, but may be worth the time & effort. Are the blogs here getting lots of hits?

myLot actually does not pay anything for blog. I take it you are talking about the relatively new blog section?
To start with, myLot chose those blogs themselves - and they are established blogs that are at least 3 months old. If you are only putting together one now, you need to maintain it regularly with quality content before myLot accepts it when you submit 3 months later.
And when it is accepted, you do NOT get paid a single cent when your blog is featured at myLot. Neither do you get anything when people comment on your blog entries. These people are paid, not you. :P
