The other night I looked up on the wall and saw a very large spider. oh it was about the size of a silver dollar.I screamed and my husband went after it.Unknowingly it had an egg sack on it & when he swatted it the egg sack broke and all these gross littles baby spiders came running out....eek!
So becareful killing those spiders lol....they are sometimes full of suprises!

OH MY GOD! That would just about be my ultimate nightmare as I am petrified of spiders. I seriously think one of these days I might end up having a real heart attack when I see a spider. Your story has just really freaked me out first thing on a Sunday morning LOL! Thanks pal! Good job I didn't read this at night or I'd have had nightmares all night!

Well I guess because the spider mother makes baby spiders.
Almost a year ago I was biten on the thumb and almost lost my thumb because it was so bad.I now admit I kill spiders. If this spider would have biten my daughter in the night like I was biten as I slept, it would have probably killed her.Yes, I admit, I kill spiders.:)

I have never had this happened to me as that was interesting to hear. I bet the baby spiders were cute, though you did not want to have more spiders crawling around in your home. It is ashame that the babies just lost their mother spider. What did you do with the baby spiders? I will definitely be careful when killing spiders in my home.

We like to catch those spiders in the summer and feed them the flies we can catch. They make for interesting temporary pets. Fascinating to watch and we have studied them in earth sciences during our homeschooling. I hope that spiders everywhere take note and do not bother you anymore.

Rachel is 14 and Adam is 12 and so all their lives. Before that it was a few years with my older son Andrew. So it has been awhile since we still are homeschools. Spiders and all critters depending on the season were fun to study and learn about. We welcome all critters.

But what ciriculum do you use for homeschooling? And do you have any online links you could share with me? I have a nine year old.

Oh gosh.. this almost made me puke! I didn't know that spiders are born this way... you mean there are already formed in that spider shape even when in the egg sacks?
Oh yuckie!! My goose pimples are all up now. :P

Oh my gosh, that gave me the shivers. Icky!!
lol That is why we get the vacuum cleaner out to kill any kind of spider or big type of bug thing. Its safer that way. lol

OH god- see my dicussion on what scares you,.... I am a total spider hater. I think I would have to put the house up for sale and move out to a hotel if even one of the babies escaped! LOL. You should see me I am sitting here looking at my walls and itching and scratching lol! Yuck!!! I would call a pest control company and have a service set up. They come every 3 months and spray inside and out and you never (or very rarely) get them again.
