If your friend is suffering from severe acne/pimples, then I suggest that they go to a professional. Dermatologists should know what to do with your friend's problem. Don't try to do things that your not sure of as it may aggravate the problem. At least with a dermatologist, you know you are safe, because they deal with it all the time, and they know better. Good luck, I hope your friend finds a way to solve the problem.

Well, I recommend that your friend should start seeing a dermatologist before it becomes worse. And here are some simple steps to make sure the acne would be gone.
Washing the face with luke warm water first would be the initial step. Next, use mild soap. Then for rinsing, use cold water. She may also apply ice on her face every thirty minutes. This may reduce the swelling. Also, applying products containing salicylic acid and or benzyl peroxide would help stop the occurence of pimples. :)
Hope that information was useful to you as you may share it with your friend. I just followed these steps, as I personally experienced this nightmare.
And by the way, vegetable oil is one factor which causes pimples. Tell her to avoid eating foods cooked in vegetable oil and the like.

I agree to what sophylline had said. I used to have severe pimple problems before. Tell your friend to wash her face regularly to remove the excess oils. And use a good brand facial toners as it may help control the oils on the face. Avoid buying cheaper over the counter treatments as it may worsen your condition. I use a black glycerine soap i bought at my dermatologist. Its a bit expensive but worth it. Also eat lots of fruits and veggies. This simple steps will help you clear your friends face :) i hope this will help her

You may want to contact a certified dermatologist. He/she may advise your friend with the best medication and treatment suited for her skin type.
