I do not have ms works or word on my comp. Wonder-ing if there is a site where I can type a doc for free?

don't know if there is a web-based solution, which seems to be what you are asking for. However, you could download/install OpenOffice for free. I believe it will save documents in MS Word format, as well as a number of other formats.

You can still type a document if you have notepad. Open Start at bottom left of your screen, open programs, open accessories and you should have "Notepad" That will allow you to type your do
