While God and I a watch will keep.

So I can protect and keep you safe.
While I gaze upon your angel face.

this is apt for a woman who knows her husband well, who knows that he loves her and works hard so that they may live happily together. the moment visualized is the moment of bliss, the moment when the rest of the world loses meaning, the moment that seems to be eternity in itself.
