can a couple be happy without kids

in my place of work,my secretary and is wife where a very happy and sad couples,happy in the sence that they love each other,while sad that they do not have kids.
i need your own oppinion of how they can be happy without and with children.

Of course you can. It simply depends on your priorities. My wife and I have been married for over 20 years now and neither of us has the least bit of interest in having childen. Life is what you make of it, and obsessing over things that don't happen is just a waste of time.
The unfortunate thing is that there is a great deal of societal pressure to pump out kids, and quite often it can ruin a marriage. Luckily for us, we have always had a mind your own damn business attitude when it comes to people asking about kids.
