long distance

my boyfried just got a job overseas for a year. We havent even been together a whole year and he'll be gone for a year. I don't think I can wait around for a year, but I don't want him to resent me if I say something. What should I do

I think understanding is one key that should never go out of sight in a relationship. Sure, it will be hard but one year if you have constant communication will pass by quickly.

Whatever you do, be honest with him. If you honestly don't want to wait you need to tell him, no matter how he responds or feels about you. He needs to know.

Hi gurl976...I think you should just sit him down and talk to him about how your feeling. Maybe you both can work something out between you both or maybe it just wasnt meant to be. Just make sure you know if the relationship is worth saving or if it isnt because if your not honest with him in the end you could actually hurt him more than you ever wanted to. Just be honest about your feelings and see what his thoughts are. Best of luck!
