I am very excited that this show starts tonight. I have been waiting for it. Going through my first deployment, the commercials even make me cry. I hope that it lives up to what it has given us via its commercials and isnt a big disappointment. Fortunately, I don't have any other shows that I watch at that time on Sunday night so maybe this will be the one to fill the slot. Anyone else excited??

My husband and I watched this show. I was a little confused during a couple of scenes. I saw a lot of Airborne personnel, who obviously wear red berets, and then I saw in another scene the colonel had on a black beret. I was not clear on what company or troops these men were from. I did enjoy the show however, it is just one of those idiosyncracies that I noticed. Not to mention when the lady was in the hospital with her kids, her husband was going to training for jump school and she told him to go get ready for his jump. My husband said they never jump their first day out. We are stationed at Ft. Bragg with the 82nd, so we saw some things that were a little off, but we both enjoyed the show and will stay tuned for the next one! I can't wait!

I enjoyed it as well. I was pleased that it was as good as it was. You know how it is with all the hype sometimes. I used to live in Raleigh, not far from Bragg and used to drive through Fayetteville all the time to see my then fiance, now husband, who was stationed at Shaw AFB. Good to hear from you!

I am definitely going to stay tuned for the next episodes that is for sure. My husband is going on deployment and wants me to record the season for him. he really enjoyed it as well. Normally he isn't interested in anything I watch, but he was the one who reminded me the show was on last night, lol! Well, with your hubby being stationed at Shaw, you know what I mean about the little differences I noticed, but it is hype and not something that bothers me too much lol! I am interested in the story overall.

I know this is a little late... but the show is pretty good... but let me tell you I hate the fact that I need to watch it. We live that life everyday. Rumors, Lies, Pushy people etc.... but it is a must for me. I have to say the very first show was silly with the whole baby thing but now it is pretty good. Glad you liked it! But deployments are the pits but good comes to those who wait. Any news on R&R??? Have a good one:)

Well, I feel the same way. And ya know, I told my husband via email that when Chase was leaving again, I cried and cried. It is a great show, but it DOES suck you in. And I watch it knowing that I am going to cry each and every episode over SOMETHING. There is just no way out of it.
Good news, though. My husband may be coming home a few days early. We still have a while left, and most people don't understand it, but a few days make the difference of a lifetime!! Even the SLIGHTEST bit of positive news is wonderful.
