I confess. I was surfing around for fun on a Sunday night when I came across myLot. Earn $$ while surfing. It really sounded cool and I signed up as a member. So I think, like many others, I started having visions of making decent cash through myLot, just by being active and stuff on this website. However, it's not like we are getting paid $0.10 per post, and from what I read around the community, people post hundreds or thousands of messages to make their payouts of $15 or so. It's decent cash I would say, for one month. BUT...has anyone stopped to think, if you came to myLot purely for earning money, that you can make a much better and productive sum of money by doing some manual work outside? THe way I see it: Time to post 500 messages = 8 hours or so Money earned: $5

I agree with you, you are not going to get rich with mylot without a long active downline. I for one am here for the discussions. I feel I am helping people with my posts and really enjoy reading what others have to say. I barely even look at my earnings and would be here whether I was paid or not.

I think it's people who really enjoy being here, partaking in active discussion and constructively contributing who gain the most out of this website. It's not the dollars and cents that we should focus on, but on the human to human (albeit electronically carried out) interaction that actually can play a part in influencing our lives for the better.

You are so right I have learned so much of the diferent cultures here that I would not have gotten to find out as easily. Although I don't always agree with some cultures it has forced me to respect them which is a great value.

I must say that you are right. People should know that whatever we earn online, its all a kind of bonus. There is no shortcuts in life to followed for earning purpose. Having a real job helps us a lot rather than depending on the online services. I was here for the earning purpose but the past few weeks have somewhat changed me and will change yo also. I am now addicted to mylot. This is one place where you get to meet many people from all over the world. Its really fun here. You get to know more about other topics of the world. And the best part is that you get paid for it. Happy myloting my friend. As an advice, try to remain active.

Yes, thanks for the advice =) I also find it an enjoyable way to wind down at night, after coming back from work, to just take part in some online discussion on intellectual as well as mundane matters. The money is secondary. I mean, in a way, it's cute that by doing some fun stuff, after a month we get a small check that pays for a movie or so. =)
