calling up help desk only to find the staff where talking to are not english

when i have a problem with my broad band service i tend to call help line so they can fix my problem but it really winds me up when the person can hardly speak english. how many of you gets wind up by it coz they dont understand what your talking about,

I get very annoyed with this too. I know that people need jobs, and that people aren't native English speakers also have rights. However, I see this as a situation where a person is in a job that they are not qualified to perform. I wouldn't take up a job where I had to speak a language that I wasn't fluent in!
Hoewver, part of the problem now is that so many companies call centers aren't even in the country the company is selling to. So much of that type of work is done overseas now. Honestly I think companies should have seperate help centers for people speaking different languages, and only staff them with people fluent in whatever language is required.
