Which of these fabulous products do you prefer to start your day with? Each has a different set of valuable nutritious elements, but this is about taste and satisfying the palatte just as we arise from a well rested night (or day) of sleep . . .

Perhaps now is a good time to introduce a new refreshing delicious beverage into the home encouraging the consummation of fresh vegetables in your diet, even though you get some at supper, I presume . . .

I like to have a nice cold glass of V-8 juice with my morning coffee. It gives me the vitamins and energy to start my day, because I'm not one for breakfast most days.

I don't know about mixing the two substances for my stomach but hey if it tastes good and works for you, more power to ya ! My breakfast is not till at least 2 hours after I am up and around and it has been mostly the same for the last six months: a bowl of organic raisin bran with 2% organic milk and an hour later a slice of cheese with a glass of v8--this is during the week menu for breakfast. Weekends, usually Saturday, it is OJ with 2 eggs, 2 slices bacon, 1 piece raisin toast about 45 minutes after a cup of coffee with cream and raw sugar. And some weekends I just sleep in real late and start with lunch around 2pm . . .

Thank you for the personal disclosure regarding the ill-likelihood of appealing to veggies, mostly from childhood indoctrination . . .

Find yourself an inexpensive Hamilton Beach (or similar brand name product)home Juicer and go berzerk with your veggie smoothies ! I am saving up enough money for one this xmas cause the store brands are just not cutting it for me with the excess sugar or salt. I just love the juice and pulp, it is so refreshing !

There was a time when I couldn't start my day without orange juice. As the old saying goes, a day with orange juice is like a day without sunshine. But now the acid is a little hard on me. I will have it on occasion, like if I am eating breakfast out at a hotel or something. Veggie juice I don't much care for. I like making stew with it, but if I'm going to drink it, it will be a very small glass.

Yes as we get older our bodies tolerate high-acidic foods and beverages less than we used to and having to curb the satisfaction of a great fresh-squeezed glass of OJ to maybe once a month is hard. Go to the market and buy tangerellos and squeeze those yourself by hand, less acidic and works well with sherbert for fruit smoothies !

I love orange juice. The taste is great -- it is a combination of sweet, salty and sour. I don't like vegetable juice because its taste is so weird.

I agree about the great taste of orange juice but there is something in that tangy zest of fresh tomatoes, celery, lettuce, garlic (maybe if you juice these veggies yourself but store bought brands don't measure up to homemade preparations), watercress, carrot, beet and even parsnip !
yummy!

That´s a tough one for me. I guess it depends on the morning. Some days are just sweeter days, so I would opt for OJ, but other mornings, I could really use something stronger and a little V8 would hit the spot. In reality, though, I almost never drink either. My breakfast drink is water, or in rare cases, hot chocolate.

The most appropriate choice since our bodies lack this vital refreshment while we sleep. Thank you for your response.

I love freshly squeezed orange juice, I dont usually start my morning with it though, I start my morning with nice tall cold ice water, after a long nights sleep, my mouth is dry, I love cold water.

You are lucky to say you love cold water, it probably means that the local drinking water in your area tastes rather refreshing. Here in my community, according to my taste buds, there is too much of a 'pool taste' (highly chlorinated and probably over-flouridated--not good either way), so I boil it and let it sit out all day in a jug before retiring it to the fridge for overnight cooling and distilling before drinking.
I love freshly squeezed oj but there is no grove close by and I don't own a juicer, not yet anyway . . .

I don't care much at all for vegetable juice. But I do like Orange Juice. I use to drink a glass before I went to work every day but I haven't for a few months. Needed something a bit different for a while. I especially like to drink it though in the flu seasons.

Oooops is accepted and noted. Does the reliv also introduce vital phytonutrients into the product to be absorbed into the body systems ? Sounds good and thank you for your error- and error-free response ! lol

I like both. I will mixed fruit and vegetable.. like celery, apple and alfalfa. You can try it...
3 sticks celery
2 apples
25g alfalfa
Cut celery and apples into even-sized. Rinse alfalfa.
Feed a;; the ingrediants into a juicer.
Pour into a glass, add a couple of ice cubes and drink immediately.

Now this sounds delicious ! Perhaps a genuine first to experiment with different veggies to get the perfect breakfast, starter of the day ! Thank you for your response and suggestion.

Both are obviously healthy for you but for health reasons the vegetable juice would be better due to the variety of vitamins plus the vitamin C is included. Many adults and children lack the veggie portions so this is great for covering all the bases. I give my boys V8 Splash which includes fruit as well and taste great. :)
