Yes, It does work. With true love and trust. No matter how far and how long the distance is... I agree that this one is really difficult to handle... but if you really love someone there's no such thing as difficult..

Well a lot of people say it won't work.. even me.. but but but.. when i'm already at place.. LDR sure is tough..lots of trials and problems.. but as for me... it's working.. we did break up for a while..but got back together and now we'r better than ever.. :) 3 yrz... 2 yrz ldr/..:)

My answer is YES. Long distance relationships can work if both work for it. It is a saying that "It takes two to tango", so the two partners should both give effort to keep the relationship.
