Almost everyone is negative to some degree. We all have issues. If you think you have no negativity issues then you speak with forked tongue. Most of the people I work with are negative mongers. In that group are those who a severely negative and those I try to avoid.
Are you thinking that you, ONA, are not negative? To say that others are negative causes me to think that you think you're ok. OMG!

Well as usual you are right. I am sorry you hace negative mongers at your work place. I am blessed to have one of the sweetest people work beside me. She is such a positive uplifting soul. She is really brilliant too.

LIES ALL LIES!!!!
I have never known anyone totally positive. Everyone has opinions-if one doesn't agree does that make him\her negative?

Oh yes! I think we all probably know a few people like you describe. I try my best to avoid the few that I know. I will go to extremes to arrange not to be near or around them.

Me too. We have one at work that moved clear to the back of the room away from us. I dont think even she can stand herself. I feel sorry for anyone that makes a mistake and sits near her.

Thats a definate yes! my mother-in-law! check the discussions i have started on my profile. i guess she has a ripple effect because she makes me complain more than i should. and to be exact, i complain about her... i try to steer clear of her,but its a lost case. they live too close to us. she is so negative that when you have spent an hour with her,you feel like the end of the world is near. she casts a black shadow when she speaks. hardly anything good gets said.

Ah sounds like my daughters Mother in law. She complains everytime they go out to eat or anywhere. Nothing is good enough for her.

Oh God yes. It's my worst pet peeve. I love being around people who love to laugh and smile. I use to have a roomate who was never happy. Over time, I realized that he wasn't happy unless he was unhappy. So I moved out and quick. Never been happier! lol
Interesting post, thanks!

Good for you. I don't think it is good to be around people like that. They seem to always be that way.
