I had a cat I loved named FLuffy she was a beuatiful orange heavy set beautiful animal purred like a lion. We had quite a bit of fun me and her I would take her on walks or sometimes she would just jump in my lap and watch T.V. with me as my favorite wrestling program came on. Such a sweet cat she passed away when I was a sophmore in high school buried underneath the tree in moms backyard because that is where she always loved to play.
I just thought I would share that thought.

I had one when I was in junior high that had baseball mitt feet - he had 7 toes on both front feet. He was absolutely huge and kind of reminded you of Garfield - except he wasn't quite as fond of lazagna! He used to walk me to the bus every morning and wait for me every evening! Someone finally stole him while he was waiting for me at the bus stop. I still miss him!

Seven toes oh i bet he was so precious it is amazing how much we fall in love with our animals. I love animals and I am so glad when we can benefit from thre memory of them. I wish that cats and dogs lived as long as us. Because we just love them so much that we have nothing but sorrow when they pass on but realize that their memory will always live with us.
The amazing things that they do and fun that they have with us. i can't wait till I get another pet or friend to have with me.

I'm sorry for your loss. I, too, have a big orange cat. (one of five cats) He isn't fat, but he's heavy and muscular. His profile looks like a regal lion. He curls up with me at night and purrs like crazy. I call him my "big boy." Each night when I come home, he comes out from wherever he is--sometimes he's a block away--and greets me with purring. Call me crazy.

I have an orange and white cat that I've hadfor over 10 years. His name is Eros (god of love). When I come home he will climb up on me and put his front feet and head on my shoulder and his rear feet on my hand while I am supposed to pat his hip and rock. If I don't rock he will push my hand that is under his back feet until I start rocking. He is the sweetest cat I've ever had.

Hi you ever heard of the blended personaility triat that the animal takes on. Let me explain this it involves the animal taking on a lot of the owners traits like a person who eats a lot their animal becomes very heavy and lazy. It also involves a person who works out a lot this animal becomes extremly physically fit. Just imagine that hunans imprint a small blue print of their personaility on the animal. This animal takes on the traits I think this happens with a lot of humans as well like parents have their imprints of their personaility passed on down to the children. No I am not saying we are carbon copies of our parents but we are definitely a blend so our personailities have to some how match.
This is what makes life interesting and strong when two people move in together if they live together long enough it is almost certain that you will pick up one of your roomates habits and he will pick up one of your habits. it is a mathematical certainty. I just thought I would share this thought with you.

That is an interesting theory. I think in a way all my cats have probably picked up certain traits from me, but also I think some are genetic. I think I started holding Eros on my shulder when he was a kitten and he has just gotten used to it. The cat on my avatar was completely opposit from Eros, she would sit on my lap and purr but I wasn't supposed to pet her. I do wish cats lived longer I always get so upset when I lose my babies. My longest lived cat was 21 years old.
