Okay, so I admit I'm old enough that I actually attended the Live Aid concert in pHilly in 1985. It was the best concert ever! There were tons of performers like The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Madonna, Run DMC, Neil Young,Black Sabbath, Santana, Crosby Still Nash & Young, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton plus a buch of 80's bands liek Teh Power Station, Duran Duran, and Simple Minds. It was all day long, plenty of partying and we were YOUING! I'll never forget it! So what was the best concert you've ever been to?

I've been to quite a few concerts, over time, and they've run the gamut from AC/DC to Asia to Shania Twain to Chris de Burgh... always different reasons for going and different company to attend with. I have to say that the "best" concerts I've been to have been the Bon Jovi shows. OK so my sister and I have HUGE crushes on Jon Bon Jovi... lol... but notwithstanding that, the shows are really fun. The last one we attended two years ago, people were on their feet, dancing and singing from the first note to the last note. Great time! :)

OHHHHHH! I'm SO jealous! ROFL They usually come to town once a year or so for us (apparently we're a good audience LOL) so I'm really psyched for the next one! They did an outdoor show last year that I missed because it was up in the mountains and I didn't have a way to get there at the time... :( One of our radio stations is doing a contest right now asking "are you willing to do anything for Bon Jovi?" They are going to call people up each day and ask them to do some insane thing for a chance to see Bon Jovi open the new 0-2 Arena in London, England. I think my sister put her name in because I can safely say she WOULD do ANYTHING! LOL

All Good Music Festival 2005 - Best dang concert ever!
What I wouldn't give to have been old enough to have gone to that! Lucky you! As for me, well, the best concert I've been to was actually a music festival in Masontown, West Virginia. It was three nights of music, camping, and friends. I don't care what anyone says, Hippies are some of the greatest people on Earth!

Several years ago Vince Gill was on tour. He did an excellant job. It was hard to believe the way he could play the guitar. It isn't show cased much on his CD's. Trisha Yearwood opened for him that night. It was enjoyable to listen to her too.

The concert that I attended that I enjoyed the most was George Jones...not that I am a big fan of George Jones..although, I do prefer country music....but 13 years ago...my mother had an aneurysm...we almost lost her...now she lives with me....George Jones is her favorite singer....I had the privilege of taking her to see him in Muskogee, Oklahoma.....my Mom, my only daughter and I attended his show there in 2002.... I will never forget it.....it was such a blessing to be able to take her to her very first concern and her favorite singer...just us girls...LOL She still has the t-shirts we bought and wears them quite often.....it is one of the few things that she remembers since having her aneurysm....as the was the biggest side effect of this medical problem....all in all....we all consider it a blessing in disguise...as we are really close once again....

The best concert had to be 'The Who' a few years ago. I saw them at Madison Square Garden when they were doing a revival tour. They were beyond amazing and played every single hit song and then some. The second best concert was 'The Eagles' a few years ago. Also, very memorable.

Oh I'm torn between which one was the best. I saw Billy Joel in concert for his "Walk Through The Fire" Tour and that was fantastic. I'd go see him again if I could. He really knows how to put on a show. I also though went to the "Snake Rattle and Roll" concert here that was hosted by the Bellemy Brothers and the one year had with them Charlie Daniels and several other bands that I'm blanking on now. It was an awesome charity concert. I haven't been to a concert though in a long, long time.

A few of my favorite concerts that I have attended are The Rolling Stones, Radiohead, Gnarles Barkley and Basement Jaxx. I have also seen a lot of DJs, which I really don't consider concerts but they are still musical performances. My favorites were Richie Hawtin, Slam, DJ Shadow.

The best concert i have ever been to? Well, that would be any of the 17 AFI concerts i have been to. i know it is partially my bias seeing as they are my friends as well as my favorite band, but they truly do put on an amazing show. i have some stories, let me tell you! And many injuries including bruised ribs and a broke finger. Totally worth it.

I'm even older than you, because JFK Stadium was the scene for some of the best concerts I'll never remember ever! In the late 70' & early 80's, JFK would have two or three major shows every year, all day events featuring 8 or 10 bands. God, it was awesome! One of my favs was Journey Jam, besides them , there was John Cougar(before he went back to Mellencamp), Joan Jett, the Tubes, Robert Hazzard, the Hooters, and a few others that I can't remember right now...maybe never! Good thing I bought t-shirts!

The best concert I have been to was the Anti Christ SuperStar concert in Toronto (Marilyn Manson). I had a backstage pass and got to chill with the band for a long time. The concert was amazing, loud and full of energy. The light show was amazing the sound effects were AWESOME can hardly wait for Marilyn Manson to begin his new tour!
