Do You Think OCD runs in families?

From my experience, yes. Although, I think that the link betweeen strep throat and OCD can cause symptoms to be worse, or manifest OCD in people prone to it.

i suppose there is no definitive answers to this as yet. However, from what i gather, the answer should be yes. That is the whole problem.

I think it certainly can run in families. My father has severe OCD. I have have some obsessive compulsive tendencies, but they come and go and change over time. I think I think I was told by one doctor a long time ago that I don't have OCD but I have an obsessive compulsive personality, which I guess isn't nearly as bad. ~Kythe42 http://lemurianphoenix.blogspot.com
