My daughter wanted me to take her to buy a Flash Drive. I was a little nervous because I knew if I went into the store I was liable to buy more than that. But I resisted. I did, however, insist we check out the clothing stores nearby for graduation dresses. My God, there are no dressy dresses in the stores in my town. We are going to have to drive to the nearest city with a large mall and spend all day looking at dresses. And there doesn't seem to be anything but strapless... for a 14 year old?
Anyway, all I bought today was dinner at the drive thru at McDonald's. Aw shoot! That reminds me... again I forgot to get milk. *sigh*

I think that clothing for a 14 year old are way too mature....I'd be frustrated by the styles if I were a parent.

Even clothes for younger kids are too skanky. There were some nice party dresses though they were in smaller sizes. I have a 10 year old who is very tomboyish and dresses like a boy. In one way I would like her to dress like a girl, but in some ways I am thankful she doesn't.

Well we managed to buy nothing. Stayed at home and cleaned up and met with a person that owns this house and tried to work out a rental eventual purchase of this house we staying. Hope we can keep the buying to a minimum until we are paid again next week. Wish us luck.

I went to a Garden Fair, so I bought plants and a birdhouse, lunch, and the Sunday newspaper (not at the Garden Fair of course). Just being surrounded by all those plants and gardens was great.
