I was browsing through US magazine last night and they asked the same questions. 75% of respondents answered they liked the Lost finale better.
I actually agree. I liked the Lost finale. It made my mind spin trying to figure out what's going on and what's gonna happen next. Heroes, on the other hand, felt more like just another episode. There was not enough drama and cliffhanger.
How about you guys? What do you think?

Is that why they call it Lost, because we as the viewers are always lost? LOL. I thought it was because the characters were lost. Either way, I really like a series that keeps me guessing who are the good guys and who are the bad guys, or what is really going on. They had some monster eating people at the beginning, then he was gone for a long time. Some black mist spirit creature flies around, then disappears again. I don't know how they all figure in. They tell us they will answer our questions, but it seems I only have more. I guess that's why I keep watching.

I liked the Lost finale much more than the Heroes finale. Then again, I like Lost more than Heroes. I did like the Heroes finale more than the 24 finale.
I love the fact that the DVRs make it so easy to watch multiple shows at the same time. I have a ReplayTV and a Tivo...completely worth the monthly fee!

I'm going to disagree with everyone.. besides Nathan flying away Peter I liked Heroes MUCH better... at least it made sense and the bit with Hiro at the end just left me wanting to know what was going to happen next.
Lost on the other hand I was so annoyed with. The stuff on the island was awesome and I wish the episode had just ended with the people on the boat coming to rescue them.
The 'flashbacks' were good until you realised it was the possible future... it just didn't make any sense and doesn't leave me hanging for next season like Heroes does.

Unfortunately the TV station in my country has not broadcast the third season of lost, so I still curious with the third season. Heroes are played in StarWorld but I already watch it til finish in DVD. It was a soft ending, but I hope the second season will be better.
But, you know what, i just think about it, we can't compare those two because heroes still has the second season coming but LOST already had 3 seasons. I think the question better kept until Heroes really finish, don't you all agree ?

actually, I can still remember how Lost season 1 finale kept me wanting more. It wasn't like that with Heroes. A finale is a finale, if you want to ensure your viewers are coming back next season, you should exit with a bang. At least that's the way I feel.

Yeah, I remember how the final episode of Lost season 1 has kept me wondering what goona happen, is it gonna be another season... So did the second season finale.
I admit that Heroes has not bit me in its last episode. Actually it was very dissapointing. But thankfully there is gonna be 2nd season, and I hope the story will get mor intense and have a beautiful ending.

The finale of Lost was better than the finale of Heoes, which is inredibly shocking considering that when yoou compare the two seasons against one another...Heroes blows Lost out of the water!
Heroes finale should have been more exciting...but it did answer a lot of questions.
The Lost finale was very exciting, but as always, there are more questions to be asked...
Lost = better season finale
Heroes = better season overall

ehhh...that's a toughy. I liked that the Lost finale stirred things up a little--that was needed after this season, which was overall a little disappointing. I think that it's hard to compare the two because they were trying to accomplish different things, storywise. Heroes was more about tying up loose ends, and living one or two dangling for next season. But the aim of the show is different--next season is Vol. 2, so it's supposed to be a mostly new story, just tied to the same characters. While Lost was more about shaking things up and making you question things. I don't know if that makes any sense...overall i liked them both, and was sad to see some of my favorite characters die, on both shows.

oh yeah, totally forgot about that, they both killed a major character, although we have lost Charlie forever while we'll still see Sylar posing as Nathan. That's the only thing, since we've seen the future already in Heroes, we already know that Nathan will die, while Lost still kept us guessing who the heck was in that casket.

I actually kind of hated the ending of the season finale of Lost. It made me really confused and I was like "what the heck, that makes no sense". But either way of both show's season finales I probably like Lost better of the 2. These happen to be both of my favorite shows on television by the way.
