Well, it's summer again, officially or unofficially. And, that means beach time. Hanging out with friends and getting some sun.
But, I have to admit that I'm not ready for swimsuit season.
Could you give me some quick weight loss tips for dropping at least one dress size by July 4th?
Something to quick start the weight loss.
A friend of mine swears by pineapple salads, and eats lots of fruit everyday. She's perpetually skinny. I'm thinking about trying her idea.
Got any that have really worked for you?

Make fruits and vegetables a top priority in your diet. However, watch out for certain fruits that are high in sugar content. Eat lean meat too and exercises in the morning and afternoon. Start by doing 30 minutes, but if you can do better, start with cardio and end with weights. For warm-ups, do flexibility training. Drink lots of water. Keep a journal of the food you eat, this will help you on your track. But don't let the scale paranoid you. Use a measuring tape. Sometimes, if you are just overweight, you might firm up first because you'll loose a lot of water before you actually lose the fat. Good-luck.

Well I have lost 10 pounds so far, but I am not 100% sure what exactly I did too do it. I think there are a few factors that helped contribute.
Drink Lots of Water: I used to drink glass after glass a day of tang (I love it!) =P But I cut down on tang a lot, and substituted water. I think I had 2 or 3 glasses of tang in over a week and a lot more water.
Not What, But How Much You Eat: I didn't completely stop eating some of my favorite foods. I just stopped eating AS much. So when you are eating something try to decrease how much of it you eat.
Eating Healthy: My above thing is true, but I have also stopped eating a few things as much. I used to have nachos and peppers everyday for lunch...now I have yougart, okra, a slim jim and a fruit bar. Or sometimes I have eggs. Eggs are really good for you so you can have those for breakfast, lunch or/and dinner.
Fruits: Eat lots of fruits instead of sugary, fattening snacks. Banana's are the best fruit to eat when you want to lose some weight because they contain very few calories. But really any kind of fruit would suffice.
Exercise: Of course it won't hurt to find a exercise you enjoy and wouldn't mind doing at least 3 times a week. For me, that's swimming. I swim whenever I can.
I hope I helped. I'll let you know if I think of something else.
