Are all the Gods one God?

not really. first off, I'm not a Wiccan, so my response won't be a Wiccan response. it's kind of complicated to explain. Deity is an Anthropomorphic personification of the force of nature. but. that doesn't mean that Gods are all different faces of the same thing. each one is distinct and separate, and should be treated as such. Morrigan is not Freya, is not Brighid, is not Ceridwen is not Hecate. Herne is not Cernunnos, is not Pan is not Zeus, is not Poseidon, is not Loki is not Thor. if you think of them as faces of another, I think they will be offended. because each is separate and unique. deity is a bridge to the universe. each deity is that universal power, but not the same. it's really hard to explain how I see it, to be honest.

Nope. I am not Wiccan. I have so much to learn, however, I am kemetic. And nope, not all gods are the same.Each god is distinct and separate, and they should be treated that way. In the Kemetic religion, we have the god RA and Anubis, they both have different roles, you can't ask Anubis for money or for any other matter when he is the one that guards the souls.

I know a lot of people who believe that all Gods are one God.... but I don't. I simply can't believe that the Gods I follow are all one being, considering how differently they present themselves to me. I see my Gods as seperate beings largely because my personal relationships with them seem separate, like they are members of my family. The Goddess who originally offered me comfort as a very young child I referred to as Mother then, and still do. Even before I knew her real name, I called her Mother. Imagining any of the other Gods I have known since that time as her, or as a face of her, just seems wrong to me. That doesn't mean I mind that other people see things that way, or that I'm saying you're wrong. That's just not the way I see things. Oh, for the record, I'm a Celtic Reconstructionist, in case you are wondering what form of Pagan I am.

I'm not Wiccan, so this isn't a Wiccan answer. But for me the gods and goddesses are seperate entities, yet all connected to one central creator.

I believe in this in the way that the Silmarillion explains it, which is similar to different afro-cuban religions and voodoo (search for Ravenladyj discussion about Bondya the Great Lwa).

I have to agree, I think the gods and goddess are simply energies that allow us to better understand the god and goddess in our selves. Eventually going back the highest power or what ever name you want to coin. I have once heard it said "If you are not both male and female equally in body and mind, then how do you think we can talk with the highest power." This coming from a very odd source being a very wise priest but of course unorthodox. Just my 2 cents

The Unity has many faces and each of them is a part of the Unity. Some call it God/Goddess. For me this is the Supreme Universal Power.The avatars of it are several, modified.

Yes, there is only One God because God is inclusive! In other words God is Everything. Its like this.......All is Energy, Energy is Love, Love is God... the trees, the sky, the ground,the People,the animals, everything is God, and that Includes You and Me!
