Using Firefox is there any extension that will tell me when I have new Thunderbird mail messages?

Not exactly an extension, but works as well. Under my firefox, I keep ePrompter in the toy tray. When the tray is visible, the icon flashes a circle with the number (if any) of messages waiting at any of my email addresses. Text only, handy to erase crud before opening my real email (Juno)
