Do you prefer driving at night or during the day ?

I don't know how to drive though I am already 31 years old. I just never got around to learning how to drive since I really prefer to be driven around. I always prefer days to nights because I get nervous especially if its so dark already. I usually scold who every is driving me around not to speed up also. I just get nervous in high ways and I prefer to arrive in our destination late and intact than risk our necks by driving fast.

I have glaucome and I cant see at night. I dont drive anymore anyway as a result of major health problems. When we go to our daughters home, we often travel at night as the traffic is much lighter. It is a 9 hour drive for us. We listen to books on CD to keep us awake.

It is more convenient to drive during daytime where you could see everything and could really focus on your driving. I also think it is more quicker to travel during the day (not in areas where traffic is very heavy) because you could run your car to a faster speed than nighttime.

Driving night or in the morning is same for me...although driving in the morning causes me irritation...but i'm not only one in dis world...I love watching how they act..how they respond to ... Driving in nights is like katevinslet on the top of the ship in TITANIC....free roads.....No Traffic....no pollution...Just accelerate say 1 2 3 and go..

I do prefer driving during the day because I have problem with my eyes and I can't see properly when I meet someone with a bright light. I've driven so many times at night and haven't been in an accident yet. Thank God! Day or night, just always be careful.

I like to drive at night better. The traffic is normally less, and I like to use lights to judge where people are. It seems easier to tell where people are when you can see them and their light beams instead of just the car. I also don't like fighting the sun and being hot because the sun is shining on you.

The daily car traffic is allways bigger, but the night driving is more dangerous. It depends how long is the traveling.

I prefer to drive during the day because at night my eyes are not so good at looking the road. Furthermore, at night all cars are using head lights and two cars from different direction meets on the road, it will blur the view. That's why I prefer to drive during the day, rather than driving during the night.

I can drive in the day time or night time. Either or does not bother me as long as everyone drives at a decent speed, which always does not happens.

I prefer to drive during the daytime when I can see. It is nice though to have hardly anyone on the road at night, but I'm always worried I might hit an animal (or heck even a person) because I couldn't see them. My headlights are on and my eyesight is good, but chances of hitting an animal or person at night (and even during the day) around here seems pretty good. Plus there seems to be some ignorant or just downright stupid people that don't know/care to wear reflective clothing, or heck, even light colored clothing during the night making them harder to see. I almost hit some idiot kids a few weeks ago who cut in front of me. They were on bicycles, and neither them nor their bikes had reflective gear on it, making it impossible to see them until they were right in front of me. Luckily though I was at a stop sign, and for some reason I stayed there longer than I should have. Good thing too, or I would have hit at least one of these kids for certain. So when I can I avoid driving at night.

I used to love driving at night - it was always so peaceful, the dark sky, the lights. The stars if outside of the city... little traffic if any. Calm, quiet. But, I always preferred that someone else was with me too. This sense of peace probably stems from my childhood. we did a lot of traveling, and most always by car. Dad liked to start our trips off in the wee hours of the morning (3am ish) to get a good part of the road behind us before traffic started up and also so we kids would be asleep and not troublesome. I was always groggy when taken out to the car to begin our first days drive, and once situated and heading down the road I would stare out the window at the night sky, and listen to my parents soft voices not much over a hushed whisper keeping eachother company in the front seats. These hours of my youth spent traveling during the wee hours still bring me to a place of comfort and total security and trust. Now? night driving hurts my eyes. the lights coming at me cause my eyes to retract in a painful way, I guess that comes with age though.

I would much rather drive during the day. I like to be able to look out and see what's around me. I feel more awake when driving during the day.

I prefer to drive at night since driving during the day in my country would, most of the time, mean that I would be driving under a hot weather and I just could not stand that. I would get tired and sleepy very quickly and that is dangerous. Whereas at night, there would be less traffic and the temperature is on the lower side. that's why I prefer to drive at night.

I like to drive in the daytime mainly because i am so night blind i get headaches driving to long at night. I like to drive mid morning or mid afternoon that way the traffic is lower avoid the rush hours.

I try to avoid driving at any time; I only drive if I am the only licensed driver going somewhere. If my kids are with me, one of them automatically takes the keys and drives. I have trouble seeing at night and find my reflexes are slowing with age, meanwhile traffic is getting worse as our city is growing by leaps and bounds.

I much prefer driving during the day. That way, I would be less afraid should my car break down or something. Also, I do not see as well at night as I do during the day so I do not feel as if I drive as safely. Sadly, the traffic is less at night and one can get somewhere quicker, but I just don't like it!
