Do you want to work for a male or female boss?

I think male and female bosses are different. Which one do you prefer to work for? I prefer to work for a male boss. Even if you have disagreements with male boss, usually they won't keep it in mind. Sometimes female boss will mind it. Also female boss is much more emotional and it's hard to follow it.

I would work for a male bosses prefer, it's so hard to follow and make so difficult situation between each other, and even most of them are short fuses, so I really dislike female bosses at all.

yeah, I just learn it from dictionary, that means they get angry easily, maybe I should say they have a short fuse instead of they are short fuses.

yes,I agree with your opinion very seriously. Although female boss may think about many details for her employees, sometimes it's very unconvenient for us.

I agree that generally, male bosses are better because they are more objective, less reactive, less demanding, do not have "menstrual moods", and are not sensitive. But as of the moment, I still prefer my female boss ( a nun), who is so kind and good-natured. Understanding and generous, I count myself lucky because she is responsible for my recent promotion in the job. She is a builder not only of buildings but of people; she is a real servant-leader who is simple and compassionate.

I am very glad for you that you have such a nice female boss. The female boss who is married and having a child will be understanding and considerate.

Hi!:-) If given the chance and choice to choose, I would rather work for a male boss. I don't, it seems that I'm not that comfortable working with the same gender. Coz there will come a time, that your ego will be touched with the same gender. Hehehe..I tried working on a male & female boss. That's what I can say regarding on it...

I've worked for both male and female bosses. There are both competent and not so competent bosses regardless of the gender. Competence and confidence in being a boss will make the difference and not the gender. edsgarcia

I've had both and I prefer a male boss. I am a woman, and a woman boss thinks automatically you have a connection mentally. That is just not the case. I want my boss to be unconnected to me in any way.

i would not bother to know whether my boss is a male or a female until he/she is receptive to my ideas and is supportive to me.

I would prefer a male boss anyday. With my experience my male bosses were excellent and treated me with respect. females tend to be narky and picky (those are not the words I wanted to use).

I am surprised to learn that people tend to work for a male boss. Female boss leaves us negative impressions.

Hello, youless,I think there will always be good male or female boss.I think it may related to the personalities of the boss rather than genders. My boss is a female and she is very nice to everyone, she is also not emotional, she is in fact a very smart woman.

I agree with you easy888. Anywhere we go except perhaps in places where women are treated differently, performance of a leader does not depend on the gender. There could be numerous factors in appraising the performance of a leader and not mainly on gender.

I have never worked under a female boss before. Female boss can be very emotional but somethimes they can be very forgiving. They make good administrator.

I would much rather work for a male boss. Females tend to be nice, too. It's like: Would you rather deal with your mom or your dad? Thanks for a great article! Sumi --- How Guys Think http://www.helium.com/tm/210101
