Well, I buy lean hamburger meat and whole wheat hamburger buns. Throw a slice of tomato on with a little bit of mustard (my preference) and you have a healthy meal. And it tastes good! I admit, some whole wheat buns don't taste all that, well, tasty. But if you find the right brand than you have a healthy meal on your hands. Just don't go for seconds. : )

For my own opinion it is not a healthy food because it contains lot of saturated fats and if you take it everyday you will absolutely gain weight. I also haven't heard of a non fat Burger, Right?. So whether it is a Vegetable dressing in between it is still full of fat. In addition, some can't take the burger without catchup, and that is another fat content. Plus, the dressing and mayonaise and the cheese. But, it is ok to take Burger once in a while but not everyday.

If its home made its alright. Cause you can control the amount of oil or fat you use... You can cut off all the fat from the chicken or meat that you are going to use to make the patty and you can grill it without oil..That way you are assured of having a healthy burger.
