I have noticed that (correct me if I am wrong) the Chinese horoscopes are done different than the way we do it over here.

hi wenfri regarding your queation my answer is in addition to the lunar year there is also a solar year.this is fixed to the four solar seasons,they are two soltices and two equinoxes.the solar year is divided into 24 periods of 15 to 16 days each in my chinese calendar we used "chong" means "clash" in chinese and those born under this sign are considered unlucky or inapropriate,aprtculary in performing an activity "good" or "bad" means suitable or unsuitable in carrying out certain activities)thank you so much wenfri and i hope that we could be friends am from philippines actually and am half chinese....hope to hear from u often tnx
