I think Mapua is known as the best Engineering university in the Philippines. De LaSalle University is also good. I was supposed to go to DLSU for Computer Engineering before we migrated in Canada..^__^ I'm still pursuing my engineering here:()

Having the Seal of "Center of Excellence" will tell the school is best or not. Only two schools got that remark. UP and DLSU. No doubt why, they scored high in recent board exams.

THere are a lot of good engineering universities in Philippines, number one is Mapua Institute of Technology (before it was number one but I don't have any idea right now), it's a private school. One more school you can consider is my school (which is the neighbor of Mapua, it's PAMANTASAN NG LUNGSOD NG MAYNILA (University of the city of Manila) or much better known as PLM. It's a government school so only top students can enter this school because of the scholarship... I finished my BS MAnufacturing Eng'g there. They are also implementing English as a basic language on that school.

I think one of the best engineering universities is our country is my Alma Mater, Technological University of the Philippines. ^_^ For years, engineers in our school top-notches engineering board exams. And the training in my school is very good especially for Engineering students. It's the premier technological state university in the Philippines.
