I see it everyday. I hear it everyday.
People at work just look forward to the evening when they can knock off. People look forward to the weekedn just so that they can enjoy the free time.
They don't hate their jobs, but they don't like it either. Pretty much, I guess about 90% of working adults go to work just to make money to pay the bills. So, for about three-quarters of their waking lives, they are doing something they'd rather not be doing.
Sad, isn't it? Alas the unfortunate reality of today's society creeps in. For a college student like me currently on internship, seeing all these people work without the enthusiasm for life and without the spunk that I see among my college peers, I do get worried; Will I be like them in future?
I know I don't wanna spend my life doing things I don't like and existing just for the evenings and the weekend. Anyone here with an opinion, experience or lesson to share?

You could have started earlier(Robert Kiyosaki started at age8), but relative to most of us you are starting in good time.Congratulations.
It is quite easy. You must pep up your financial literacy immediately, do everything to acquire the habits that financial freedom require and then you are on your way.
1.Develop a strict accounting system that enables you to know excactly how much you earn.
2.Budget your expences to eliminate unnecessary spending and keep your expences at 10 to 40%.
3.Put the budget expences so created into investments so they work for you and earn you passive income.
NOTE that at no time did I say get a well-paying job. This is because you can do all the listed things and become rich doing just about any job.All that is required is that you have any regular income whatsoever.
