I know some people who actually get formula for free from WIC and then sell it on Ebay. That's wrong! But some people still do it. I don't know about the rest. I haven't bought formula online before. I was lucky enough to be on the WIC program when I was pregnant with my child. But whatever I didn't use, I donated and not try to sell it. Maybe that's why it's so much cheaper? Or maybe it's close to expiration date? I dunno.

That's a great point. I hate how much formula is and would love a cheaper way to buy it. I never thought of it coming from WIC, then it being resold. And you're right, it is wrong to resell something like that. It's pretty much just like stealing. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the best response comment. I saw your other note about buying coupons. Don't bother doing that either. You can get FREE coupons from the manufacturer directly. Just go to their websites. Most manufacturer will send you coupons for FREE once you register on their site. There are many other baby website you can join where they will send you coupon, free samples, etc.

I tried that. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I only get coupons for things I don't need. And the ones that do want you to send barcodes for at least ten of their products, then will send you a coupon for $0.50 off. I just want to save money somehow so I can continue to be an at-home mom. You know how hard it is, your husband is in the military.

Check out the sellers reputation first. It could be that they just brought too many or they dont need it anymore. Make sure that the tin isnt damaged and check the expiration date and that it is fully sealed. Otherwise I dont see why not. I know if I had excess I would try and sell it.

I would probably get it although I would thoroughly check them out to make sure that they were not tampered with. Maybe she got them from work or someone she knows and just trying to make a few extra dollars for herself. I know a friend that get excess stock or leftover stock from work and they sell it on ebay.

The reputation is perfect. The experation date is not for another year. This one person in particular is selling 30 cans, in five seperate lots. The picture of the cans is perfect, but I don't know. Maybe I'll try buying the coupons first. I've seen those on ebay too

I have sold some on Ebay before. It was extra that my son wouldn't drink anymore after he turned 1. I didn't get as much as I paid for it but oh well. It wasn't opened or anything and I was glad to help someone else out by letting then get a great deal on it =) All of it wasn't expired so it was totally safe!!

I have never bought or sold baby formula and I wouldn't either. You don't know the person that is selling it and I would not take the risk of giving it to my baby not knowing what could have been put it in.

For even thinking of putting a baby at risk for the couple of bucks saved..DON'T.
It's not worth buying something and risking a baby's health and life even. I will never do that. I don't even use expired baby formula ie if I don't finish using the formula milk after two weeks of opening, my wife and I will just throw the remainder away..
After going thru all those labor pains, we know our child deserves our tender and loving care. That includes giving him the best in life and nothing less.

I wont advice u to buy something like that for your baby.Remember nothing good comes easy or too cheap.Another thing u can do is to verify the seller's identity and know why they are selling so cheap

How do you verify their identity? I don't think I would buy the formula either, but I wonder how they get it so cheap..
