What have you done productive today?

There are many many days where I just don't feel like doing a thing. I know I'm not alone. But there are days where we have busted our butts and got a whole lot done. Today is one of those in between days. I have mopped the bathroom floor, cleaned the litter box, taken the trash out, paid bills, and picked up the never ended sea of toys in the living room (only for a tsunami of toys to hit when the boys wake up from their nap). So what have you done productive today? Anything? or is today your lazy day?

I had one of those non-productive days. Now I am sitting here feeling like a loser like I ought to get up and catch up on something. I think I set myself up this morning on purpose. We're moving soon and I took a truck load of boxes to our storage (and most were really heavy!). I think I did it on purpose so that my fiance would come home from work and be wow'ed and so that I could breeze through the rest of the day.. hehe, oops

Well, the day has only got started for me today, and it has to turn out to be a productive one for me, otherwise i will be screwed. I have got exams starting from tomorrow, and i cant really loiter around doing nothing. So i am trying to study, and have done a fair bit since morning. Still i have a lot left on my plate, and that reminds me of getting back!! :P

Well for about a week I sleep totally not bothered for 8 straight hours. Now you may ask what is the relation of having a good full sleep in being productive today? Well now I'm more focus in what I do in my job, and that makes me more productive that when I don't have a complete sleep.

Today is one of those days that I just sat there like a muddle of pud. For the last two weeks I have agonized over getting some hair dye to tackle those gray roots that seem to be growing like weeds in a garden, finally made it to the store and now the box is sitting looking at me from the bathroom counter. It was only ten minutes ago that I finally picked up the contents of my bedroom floor. So today has been about as unproductive as it gets, but tomorrow will be here before you know it and hopefully it will bring my energy with it.

Wow! Some of you have been busy today! Today and yesterday were wild and busy days! After finshing up very late last night online talking to some friends, I ended up getting out of bed at nine o'clock and thinking of all the things i had to do... Living by yourself sure has its downsides!! Things I had to do included doing the washing and iron a pile of shirts that I have been neglecting for a very long time (being a guy does not look forward to it!!)Washing the dishes, going to town to get a few little but important things done, catchup with TAFE which I am way behind in - 3 months in fact!!! so that could take forever! clean my budgies cage out, vacume the house, make breacky and lunch, helping freinds online and of course - get ready to go out tonight!!! and the list goes on!! so My day has been very full on! but i would rather that than being bored!
this is my relaxing time, just writing and shareing my thoughts!!
Have a great day!

Lets see, I got the kids packed off to their friends place, I got the dishes done, I had lunch and then I did my Step Aerobics routine, watched closely by the cat.
Then this evening, we all went out for a walk so that I could keep my exercise regime going, and then I've sat and made a cup of tea and my partners lunch for tomorrow.
I intend to spend the next couple of hours on Mylot lol.

Good for you, you did something productive for your home today. I am a working mother in a university and I also have done something very productive. This morning, I facilitated a seminar-workshop to a group of faculty members from the College of Nursing about teaching strategies and syllabi making. I was really affirmed because of the positive feedback and response I got from the participants. Judging from their cooperation and participation, I concluded that it was a productive session indeed. Have a nice day. There are times though that I am simply lazy to do anything productive...

Summer is pretty much busy every day for me. Now that my son and husband are out of school for the summer i think I'll pull my hair out. lol
My older son has been at his dad's all week where he entertains himself with TV and video games all day which is not allowed at our house so I've been trying to come up with some productive things for him to do.
Today, let's see, I got hubby to empty the dish washer and reload it and go to the bank, I updated all our financial accounts, typed songs for projection at our VBS at church which started tonight. Put away the clothes that were in the dryer, hung clothes out on the line then brought them in to fluff, washed baby clothes and hung them out only to go back and collect them 10 minutes later when it started to pour down rain. Called the pediatrician office for a flex receipt, checked my e-mail after not having service for 5 days, fixed lunch and supper, went to VBS and was in charge of the singing class for 2 hours, and right now in addition to discussing, am writing out things that need to get done tomorrow like working on curtains that I'm sewing, taking out trash, make menus for the rest of the week, go grocery shopping, and vaccuum in the living room.
I frequently wonder how all this stuff got done when I was working full time outside the home. Being a SAHM has really changed how I prioritize things.

Oh, I do get some time now and then when my hubby sees that I've had a hard day or I'm feeling bad. He'll take care of the boys so I can take a long, hot bath which is one of my favorite things to do. Or I take some time just to go to the grocery by myself and again, he watches the boys. But today has gone down the pot, literally. We've been working most of the morning on getting the bathroom drain unclogged. This will probably be my lazy day this week. I guess it is easier for me because when the guys are at home, I can at least delegate some stuff that I normally do myself.

On top of all that, I think that if I didn't keep busy, I'd weigh 500lbs. I am a major snacker when I'm idle. When I was working at the dentist office, I didn't have time to snack other than the 10 min AM/PM breaks. Now that I'm at home though, if I sit for more than a few minutes, i find myself shoving some sort of food in my face. We try not to keep junk food around the house so that helps a little bit.

I got up, went outside in my pajamas, got the leftover dinner I had left in the car over night and put it in the refridgerator. I wrote a formal letter to a judge, mailed my rent (and letter) and went to the library. Oh, yeah and I signed up for mylot. My life is awful so I was exploring ways that I could make some, you know, what makes the world go round?....Money,it's a gas...
Anyways, I too feel like some days I can work like dog and get so much done and other day's I can't even think! Thanks for asking.

This was a lazy day for me. I just found other site which is better than mylot which all newbies are all welcome. Hope you heard this site. But later I was a bit confused in browsing the said site. I put all my time there but nothing seems to be happen. Just a waste of time.
Lesson: Don't join other sites other than mylot.

Today, Sunday, I just slept and slept and slept. When I finally got up, I just went on to watch TV and after watching it for some time slept again. I of course ate some food in between the sleeping and the TV. I thought of doing some garden work but then not enough tools to do it and I wasn't actually sorry about that. After a while, I moved over to the PC and started mylotting. I have been here since. I guess not a very productive day if you think about it.

i rarely feel lazy and unenergized. only when i am sick or feeling bad when i feel like not doing anything.
just like any other day, i cooked, i did the dishes, i did the laundry, i cleaned and i took care of our pets. so, basically, i have done a lot of things today. and i say, i had been productive most of my days. it's quite tiresome but since i am used to it, i feel something's missing when i look back and see myself unproductive for a day.

My fiance and I are sitting side by side at our computers. He's working on a screenplay, and I'm working on getting ideas together for my next big writting project, along with a couple of articles I might be able to sell for a couple of bucks.

Well, I haven't really done much yet today, but I've only been up for about an hour and a half. I got my son up, fed him breakfast, and played with him for a little while. He's in here already having a snack right now, while I'm supposed to be doing some real writing, but instead I'm on mylot while I brainstorm. lol I have taken a couple of surveys this morning, so I've at least made a little bit of money. After lunch when my son lays down for a nap I will have to be more productive. I need to start packing stuff for when my son and I go to Missouri in 2.5 weeks. My husband will actually be moving our stuff to our new house while we are gone, so I need to get the stuff we need to take with us packed separate so it doesn't get boxed up to go to the new house.
I really should mop the bathroom and kitchen floor today, too. I cleaned the toilet and sink and countertop in the bathroom yesterday, but didn't have time to do the floor, too. Yesterday is the day I should have responded to this discussion! lol

Let's see, so far today I've taken the garbage can (as well as my landlord's) out to the curb for pickup, did the dishes, took a load of laundry out of the dryer, put away that laundry, put a load of laundry in the washer, and balanced my checkbook. There are so many other things for me to get done, but I just don't feel like doing them at the moment! :P LOL
