Is Florence a dump?

I have planned a holiday to Florence and I was really excited but I keep hearing that its a dump and not worth seeing. Please tell me its not true I booked it and everything

It is dump if You do dump things which most of Americans do. Do not listen what they say, just go there and explore everything on your won. It is the most phenomenal city I know of.
