How does your husband say "I'm sorry"?

My husband usually helps out around the house more. It's his way of saying, "I'm sorry!" He's not much of a talker when it comes to apologizing. And, it's something that works for us. We both know when he's messed up, so there's no need to rub it in. So, how does your husband apologize when he's done something really bad? Does he just come right out and say it, or buy flowers?

i'm not only the president of the "i screwed up" club , i'm also a member. i'll admit it if i do mess up, and i'll add flowers if its that bad. but it is important to be attentive and available anytime she needs me just in case she wants to forgive my shotcomings.

My husband knows when he's messed up and will always say he's sorry. I don't want a gift or flowers when he's done something that's upset me, (I feel like that's just to cover it up) I just want him to admit it and try not to let it happen again. I give him the same courtesy, it doesn't always work, we both still mess up, but we always make up with a cuddle and saying I'm sorry.
