Have you ever been in a Helicopter?

I'm fortunate, my boyfriend is a helicopter mechanic, and he's well liked in the industry, so I always have an open invitation to go for a helicopter ride.
I've only ever gone the once, but I had a blast. We buzzed a moose who was running through the forest, and even though I'm desperately afraid of heights I felt fairly secure up there.
It was really neat!
Have you ever been in one?

No, I have never been in one, but would love to one day. I am scared of heights too, but I think I would be ok in a helicopter, as I am fine in planes.

yes, i have been in a helipcopter before because my uncle is working for a company which is offering free helicopter rides every now and then, so when i was a kid, my uncle used to make me ride helicopters every now and then, just for fun. :) lolz. :)

I used to ride in helicopters when I was in the Navy. I have a fear of heights, but it wasn't scary in a helicopter. I used to do aerial photography and the door would be wide open. I was connected to the bird by a belt. Then I laid prone on the floor and started to take photos. The inside is quite noisy, so we wore helmets with headsets to listen to the aircrew.

Yes, I've been in a helicopter before. Like you, I've only been in one once. However, it wasn't all that exciting, I'm afraid. But then again I didn't really go anywhere in it. Just a quick trip up in the air and then we (the pilot, my sister, and I) came back down. That was all there was to it. LOL

Hi, breepeace. No. I have never rode in a helicopter before at all. I don't think that I will ever ride in one too, either. I am very afraid of heights and the thought of heights scares me like crazy! It was nice that you were able to have the opportunity to ride in a helicopter.
It sure does seem like so much of fun, but I just don't have the willpower to do something like this.

My office is in the back of helicopter. I love everything about them, I almost feel weird not being in one, and calling my job a job when im not flying.

hi, yes i been riding a helicopter on a regular basis because i work offshore (oil rigs) so our means of fast transportation to the rig is a helicopter. but before we can ride a chopper we should undergo a helicopter underwater emergency training (HUET). with this training we will be able to respond to any water landing..hehehe..
