My problems with Marketing Pond

I joined Marketing Pond and now I know how it works. You join a list of programs listed on the site. All the programs you will join it will be under the person who referred you to marketing Pond. So I see how it is a downline builder.
Now my problem is that I am already a member of many programs so will only join few ones. I will have to promote my marketing pond referral link and if I get people to sign up to marketing pond and if they sign up to some programs it will be under my name. The problem is that I joined only few so will have those people as my referrals only in those programs that I signed for in the site.
Marketing Pond don't have my referral link for those programs I already joined before signing up to their site. So there is no way my referral link is there for those programs.
I don't think it's a good idea. I would be better of promoting my own blog where I have my own referral links.
Do you agree with me or do you think I am missing something about the way this website works? I would like to have your input on marketing pond and how the referral thing works for programs you have joined before signing up to this site.

I tried marketing pond and didn't like it at all. It is not something I plan to use.

You can already be a member of programs and use Marketing Pond to promote them. What you do is enter your current ID or username that you already have and then save that to the marketing pond system. As for the programs that you are not a part of of I would suggest joining them. That is how the referral thing works for programs that you have joining before signing up to this site.

ah....i didn't know that. i just joined it myself a day or two ago and havent' really had time to explore everythign in it.
well, at least it's free, and it has a lot of free material about marketing and such.
but maybe you're right, maybe just promoting your own blog is better....
i guess the thing is with your own blog is it doesn't give everybody else a "program" like marketing pond.

Thanks JackBravo. I didn't have the time to explore the site either. I guess after we do that we will come out with what's best for us to do. Maybe do both.

Hi puyol1, I am understanding this site better. It's a downline builder for some programs. All are free to join. Some of the programs are international some others are not. But you don't need to sign up for every program in the list.
If you are interested in this program and if you need help, it would be my pleasure to help you as now I am more familiar with it. Take care puyol1.
