In the car: AC or Wind?

If you're driving in your car, or a friend's car, which do you prefer during the warm summer days? The air-conditioning on full blast, or all the windows open and the wind flowing through the vehicle? I prefer the natural cooling method.. I absolutely hate how ACs make me feel, so given the chance I'm all about opening the windows. I also have desk fans at home instead of having an air conditioner installed.

I love the wind blowing through the vehicle but I always bring a brush with me to take care of the wind-blown look it has on my hair. I am prone to migraines and not only is air-conditioning somewhat uncomfortable if you're not used to it but it is horrible for migraines. WIND PREVAIL!! Haha.

it depends on how hot it is outside, but i generally prefer fresh air. i dont want to be breathing in too much freon and a/c uses up more gas, which is expensive now. but when it gets really hot i really have no choice.

I would much rather wind down the windows, Air conditioner, especially in the car makes me feel all stuffy and like I cant breath.

I would rather have the window open and the wind blowing through my hair. My husband insists on the windows closed and the air conditioner on. We have an airconditioner at home but then we are not moving in a car and at least those birds do not keep us awake.

Actualy i prefer cool air from outside rather then aircondition in the car. Some how it depends on how hot the weather. If it's 90 degree i will definately prefer air conditioning.

It depends! If my son is in the backseat OR if it's EXTREMELY hot outside then I will put on the AC but otherwise I love to drive with the windows down.

I don't like A/C unless I'm in dress clothes. When I lived in Ohio it was no big deal to just have the windows down in dress clothes but I live in Florida and in the summer it's close to 100% and humid. If I'm just in like a tank top and shorts I love to have the windows down.

It really depends on how hot it is for me, if it is really really hot, I will use the air-conditioning, but if it is not too bad then it will be just the windows down.

i also like the wind blowing from outside but here, the sun is really hot on summer days although i don't like the AC much, but it's much more useful to make you chilly at home, i don't have an ac.. same like you, i prefer to have a fan in my room heheheee.. LOL thanks breepeace.. ^^

I prefer the AC. Having the windows down is nice if it is cold outside, but here in Texas it is SOOO hot that you will be all sweaty if you don't have the AC on.

I prefer the wind and the warm air coming in the windows. I grew up without air conditioning and when my husband and I got married, he was used to having air so we got our first house and we used it a lot. He likes it to be cold in the house and I don't. I personally think that 80 degrees is very comfy! I am not really comfortable in the air conditioning. I don't mind some fans going but I could live without the air conditioning.

I also prefer the windows to air conditioning in the car. I don't mind AC inside a building, but inside a confined vehicle it makes me feel sick. Just the other day my friends were yelling at me for turning off the AC and opening the windows because the wind was messing up their hair... I would rather have to brush my hair than have a headache from the weird smell and artificial coolness of the air conditioning though.
