Now, I'm sure a lot of you have heard about 1337, or leet. It is internet lingo that, instead of typing letters, there is nothing but slashes and different stuff. Here's the alphabet in leet...

G = 6 or 9

We have discused Leet in a few off my groups but in the joking sense. Cause well its silly unless you are still in junior high sending coded notes to your friends.

I have seen a couple of people talking in 1337 and I think that it is a waste of time in my eyes. Why the hell would you want to type 57|_||0||) rather than STUPID?? I could understand the acronm type like IDK=I DON'T KNOW or LOL=LAUGH OUT LOUD as that is an actual time saver but leet is just stupid.

I have seen this and had no idea what it was! LOL now I do thanks. It does very much annoy me I feel that if you are talking to a group or if several people are going to see it then it should be clear to everyone. That is like me talking french to some of my friends with someone there that doesn't understand french. Just rude!
