How many languages are you fluent in? What are they? I speak 3 languages, my primary language English, my secondary French, and I am learning Spanish. I like learning new languages, the more languages you know the better you can communicate with people. I hope to learn several more languages before I am finished.

Spanish was indeed my first language so I'm fluent in that and in English of course. I took French for 3 years back in high school and I always did great, but as soon as I stopped practicing it I forgot it! And even back then, it was never fluent. Woo, it's great you're learning Spanish! I can help you anytime if you need it! Hehe :D

hola and thank you I may just take you up on that. Hehehe. I am losing my french as well because I am not allowed to speak it in front of my hubby, he can't understand it so out of respect I don't speak it. Thanks for your comment.

Just send me a PM cuando tu quieras! ;) It's great that you know French.. if I still remembered any of it you could've given me some pointers! Lol. I think French is loads prettier than Spanish, kind of wish I tried harder to not lose it. And hope you won't either, I say you should teach the hubby! =) (And muchas gracias for the BR! :P)

I know English. Did French and Spanish at school and muddled them up. Thought I wasn't any good at French but was able to help my teenagers pass their GCSEs and it 'came back' to me with a bit of practice. I just don't know enough vocabulary. We had a family holiday to Italy and tried to learn a little to 'get by'. It was so funny though as we were able to help a local understand that we wanted to know the way to the beach but could not understand the directions! My husband comes from Wales and I am picking up a bit of Welsh when we watch the rugby matches with commentary in Welsh. I wish I could converse with my dog better. He has learned a lot of English but I know hardly any dog language. Just shout louder in English like a true Brit.

I unfortunately never had the chance to take it in High school. We were stuck with English and French. Thanks for the comment.

I'm only actually fluent in English. I know some Spanish, but I'm not totally fluent in it. I don't speak it quite as well now cause I haven't had the practice in awhile, but I at least am able to carry on a decent conversation with it usually. I'd like to get a lot better at it though.

That is awesome. I am not sure how much of a conversation I could carry in Spanish because my hubby doesn't speak it so I can't practice with him. I am trying to get my friends to learn so we can talk to each other in Spanish rather than English. Thanks for the comment.

Well the only language I speak perfectly is English. I'm somewhat fluent in Russian, but I never get the opportunity to practice. I speak a fair amount of Spanish and Polish as well. I understand German perfectly, but I can't really speak it well.

I actually found a 6 lesson course on the net for free. I also have a friend in Orlando that teaches it for a living so he helps me out by IM'ing me in Spanish and translating when needed. It is a very interesting language I would recommend you learn to speak it.
