Do you regularly go for a morning walk in a park or beach or at any other place? At what time do you go for your morning walk? Do you go alone or you are accomapanied by your partner etc.? Do you feel fresh and rejuvenated when your return from your walk? I think it is better to leave for a walk before sun rise and it is also considered logical to go in the Eastern direction for a walk..because by the time you come back...Sun will be behind you. I would like to know your expereinces please.

oh deepak, you jushed pushed a sensitive button. was that a tinkle? actually i am bit lousy in this regard. everyday, i think, i would accompany my father but in vain. i wake up quite early but since my office hours starts quite early, i can't really manage walks. i do go to gym twice a week, but then its not the same. i think i lack in the motivation, silly me!! but by the time you go through this, i guess i will start doing it. its been a long time now and i just cannot afford to miss out on my good health. thanx.

Yes, perhaps it was a tinkle. Hope you would have started going for a morning walk...say even for 10 minutes....by now. I regularly go for a morning walk....once kids leave for their school, with my partner and it keeps me fit and health. Gym janey se bhi fayada to hota hi hai. Thanks for sharing your views. deepak

i love to do morning walks. it makes my day start right and i feel good after that. however, i don't go for morning walks always. especially when i am alone. i only do it when i have friends who are inviting me to be with them doing morning walks. but soon, i will be doing morning walks with my boyfriend almost everyday since i will be migrating to his country soon.

Much as I like to, I am not able to go for morning walks as I am not able to wake up early. If I do not need to work, and it is not raining, I would go for my morning walk. I would often go to the reservoir near my home and have a 5km walk or jog before taking a seat to enjoy the fresh air and wind. I used to accompany my parents for walk at 6am, sometimes even before 6am. However, after I read some warning that one is more prone to heart attacks if exercising in the early morning hours, there is no more early morning walks. The best time is about 8am, something I heed closely.

I would say - where there is a will, there is a way. You make it whenever possible, that is very good. I am now aware what you have stated about heart attacks...I think...if it is very very cold outside...it would be better for heart patient not to go for their morning walk. deepak

I used to every single moringing and I loved it. For a brief while I was a runner and I enjoyed running in the morning. But lately I have gotten away from it. I would like to start again because it would make a big difference in helping me have a better day.

I wish I had but I don't.i never did a morning walk not even when I was younger and I had more free time to do.I'm not sure why but I never start it.I suppose maybe because I start work very young and always I wake up too early to go for work I didn't spend any time from my sleep to walk. So no morning walk for me...not even afternoon or night walk lol: What about you Deepak?

Yes. I go for morning walk for 1/2 an hour in the morning by 6 or 6.30 am. I go to bed late. Hence getting up very early is difficult for me. More over the tablets that I take make me go into deep sleep. I go round about my house i.e. two crosses. It does make me feel energetic and I feel I lost some weight also.

I quite like to go for early morning power walks around the streets at around 6.30-7am for about an hour and a half, depending on how I feel. I have slackened off a bit over the last couple of weeks but will be getting back into it this week. I enjoy morning walks and feel rejuvenated afterwards. I find it best works for me in the morning than at the evening as I often feel too tired to exercise or do anything. I usually walk by myself while listening to my ipod shuffle. Its fun walking to music :)

I just started this morning! I made a goal for this summer to take a walk around our development with my two children every morning. This morning we went after breakfast, but I think as it gets hotter, we might try before breakfast. We don't go real far because my daughter is only 4. I'm doing it more for my exercise but it benefits the kids also. We'll see if we can make it all summer!

I never go for morning walks. My job starts at 8am, any earlier would ensure my falling asleep at work. But I do exercise when I can. I usually spend 10-15 minutes working out right after I get up for work (I know, not a lot. But I get a little in at night, too). I would go to the gym and work the treadmill or something on my days off, but I have this thing about exercising around other people.

Since I don't have the time nor the appropriate venue to have a daily morning walk, I just improvised by taking off from the bus, 2 blocks away from my office every morning. That way, I get to walk around 10-15minutes which serves as my daily morning walk. ^______^

I guess you can call it that. I walk about a mile to work every day. I find the walk very peaceful and usually makes the day go by a little easier.

I used to go for a morning walk at about 5 in the morning and I go along with my father and sister. Lately, I haven't been able to walk because it's raining. I'd like to continue walking because I feel refreshed and have more energy the whole day. Walking is also the best exercise. We usually take morning walks around some part of our subdivision where there are only few houses and cars.

I enjoy walking as much as I can. It really helps that I work in a hospital and so I can walk upto 4 miles every day that I work there, so I think on average I can walk upto 20 miles a week.
