We have all had embarrassing moments

and funy things happen to us .I decided to tell some of my moments. A few years ago 1974 to be exact we built our new home.I had 2 children at the time and money was short so i had to save for new curtains,in the meantime we had sheets at the windows.Finally i had saved enough so i had a company come to the house to measure and quote for my new curtains.the day he was coming i was trying to get the house tidy and respectable as he was going to have to go into each room. I asked my neighbour to take my son to school and she also offered to my my 2yr old daughter.I had just was just about finished with the work and had 3/4 hour spare to shower and dress.I just about to get into the shower when the doorbell rang.i opened the door and invited the man in and introduced myselfthen showed him down the passage saying the bedroom is this way (Why i decided to start in the bedrooms i will never know)well the look of horror on his face,and he said "sorry lady i think you have the wrong idea"not knowing what he meant, i said you rather start somewhere else,he opened the door and said lady i am here from Catholic education ,"you filled out a form to say you were interested in some educational material,never mind i will give it a miss".He left before i could say anything .I was so embarrassed thinking what he must have thought.My family and neighbours got a good laugh and still tell the story
