Baby and traveling

I wanted to know how to protect the baby's ears when traveling on planes. We know how it feels to have our ears going crazy and I wanted to know if anyone knows tricks to help baby have a better more comfortable trip

A pacifier/binky will do the trick. The sucking will help them. I went on a plane with my daughter when she was about 7 months old and she did fine. The flight lady told me to give her a pacifier and that it will help with the ears. I had no problems on my little trip and my daughter seemed happy.
