I got an idea? What to do think

I have an idea and would like to hear from those that are interested. Most of us here are doing different things to make money. We all submit articels, blogs and what ever else we do to in hopes of getting more traffic and referrals. The problem I see here is that we are all competing for the same thing. Now here is the idea: What if some of us got together, opened a blog site and started submitting writings, articles and advertisements. The more writings submitted on this site the higher the ranking is, right? If we can get a site with a higher ranking, I'm thinking if we get a site with a higher ranking we will get more traffic and referrals. Its no different then what we are doing right now, we will just be doing it together. Keep your links on all the writings as you have done. This should ensure traffice and referrals to you.
