Yes there is. Especially with symbian OS embedded phones like, 3650, 3660, 6600, 7610 etc. The mostly known mobile virus is named Cabir. Actually its not really a virus but acts like a virus. When a mobile phone is infected with Cabir, Cabir will make an annoying pop up message to your phone menu. After being infected, Cabir will then enable your bluetooth and make a copy of itself and search for other bluetooth enabled phones to infect theme as well. So you may ask how you can prevent it? There is a program there over the net that will help you remove or protect your mobile phone from viruses. You may search google the keywork is "Cabir Fix" for the Cabir removal and mobile anti-virus program.

If you receive a phone call and your mobile phone shows ACE=? on the screen. Don't answer this call. End the call immediattely if you answer the call, your phone will be infected by this virus. This virus will erase all Imet and Imst information from both your phone and sim card, which will make your phkone unable to connect with the telephone net work.
