During my younger age I very much desired to learn guitar or violin. But due to financial problems I could not. Now I don't find the time. I am very glad to understand that you are a good guitarist. As you said it will allow you to reduce your strain and stress.

i can't play any instrument. i wish i could but when i was a kid, i did not find any interest on them. now, i regret it. wanna learn how to play a guitar. i can sing and so, i was wishing i could play the guitar, too. however, whenever i try to learn how to, i can't anymore. i am too old i guess to start it. my fingers won't reach the chords!

I'm planning to take lessons too a few months from now. I'm just finalizing things in my work before i can manage my time well for both.

huhuhu! i feel sorry for myself. well, atleast you can play it.
i have seen people who play the violin really good at it. they play the violin like they feel it. the music a violin brings is so good to the ears, too... very soothing.

I don't know to play any musical instrument. I love to listen to music. My wife plays veena a south indian musical instrument. She plays it very well. She plays classical music on veena. It is really soothing to listen.

I don't play an instrument but have always been fascinated by the saxophone. Wish i learnt it in my childhood days, mind you it's probably never too late to learn. My son wants to learn how to play the piano so I am going to encourage him by enrolling him in some piano lessons.

I don't play guitar but my husband and my daughter play and they jam together. They play together in their free time and we watch their "concert" in the house. LOL!

Playing an instrument is what I've always wanted to do especially guitar. But unfortunately, I wasn't able to start it when I was younger. Is it true that the younger you are,the easier for you to remember what has been taught about the chords and how to play it?i really admire people who has the skill to play a musical instrument.that means i admire you so much.keep it up

I played piano before but then I stopped because of a stupid reason.. I can't watch my favorite anime, which is the SAILORMOON. LOL! Hey, I was only 8 years old back then and I'm totally pissed off every time my teacher comes home then starts its lesson with me at the time where the sailormoon is being aired on tv. I regretted why I stopped playing piano before and now I have plans on playing again but really needs to have time management since I'm in 3rd year college now and its seems that I'll be really busy with my studies at school. :( But still, want to play again.. esp. when I'm feeling sad.. I want to play sad pieces. :(

I played the drums when I was in high school and college. I also played a little bit of keyboard and guitar. I love music as my family loves music and most of my cousins and I are into musical instruments. I do find it as a stress reliever and it enables me to express myself or my emotions through different songs. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to play drums or keyboard but I do play the guitar when I get the chance. I'm looking forward to teaching my daughter how to play an instrument. She's only 5 months so I would gave to wait for a couple of years to buy her a mini drum set of her own.

I played the trumpet in middle school and high school, marched in the band, went to competitions, etc. It was fun. I don't play it anymore though, my instrument was not very well maintained. I do plan to get a new one sometime in the future, but I'm far more interested in learning guitar first.
It'll probably be a couple of years before I do either, though.
I lose music. I think everyone should learn an instrument.
