Why do people psycologically scream when they see a BEE?

maybe because they're afraid that the bee will sting them! and also some people are afraid when things start to fly around them.

hmm..i think it's just normal human instinct and reaction..they know that bees can sting, so those who are afraid of them might think that the bee will come to them and sting them or something..

Maybe because of the idea of bee equals sting. I've seen in an episode of 911 and discovery channel the bees attacking humans. It was scary. We can die if we get too much stings in our skin. I guess its not only bees that makes us scream. Any insects like cockroach makes us also scream. :)
