Why is it frightening to go back to the school on the first day of classes?

I will be graduating soon but I am still nervous every first day of classes..=] Maybe it's because you don;t know what's gonna happen,afraid of new strict teachers,or maybe new classmates...But I think It's just normal..And sometimes we can't differentiate the excitement that we feel so we would sometimes feel nervous about it..=]

Yes it was frightening for me also when I entered in 9th class. At that time I changed the city so no old friends were with me. Few neighbouring boys were in the school so I made them friend when I come to know about them after few days. But in my class one boy was my neighbour. After few months, I made lot of friends then I never faced problem. Initially it happens with most of us. Same in college also. But at college age we are mature enough.

as with most things anticipation is what controles our reactions of fear and excitment. When we return to school or work after a break it is natural to anticipate it often with fear and dread. blessed be

I don't really remeber my highschool days about that but maybe that time I'm not afraid. But I will share to you my two daughters experienced in this past few days before the class start they arranged their uniform, washed their bags, and clean their shoes and I'm laughing at them coz there seem so very excited about it.
